In some areas of Shampole in Kenya, tests are currently made to make soap out of grey water. The water is collected with Rotary barrels in rivers and swamps, and since it’s not potable, it’s cleaned through water filters and then used to make soap. The soap business is set up by local women to create a sustainable income. Tests are currently made, if also grey water may be used in the soap production after filtering.
