Singapore commemorates World Water Day with a month-long campaign to celebrate water, appreciate water and raise awareness on water conservation. PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency brings the community together to take up the “I Save” Pledge where they pledge to adopt good water saving habits and reduce their water consumption. The Opening Ceremony on 3 March 2018, was attended by more than 4,000 people, including our Guest-of-Honour, President Halimah Yacob, along with Minister of Environment and Water Resources and Senior Minister of Environment and Water Resources.
“Make Every Drop Count”, the theme for Singapore World Water Day 2018 continues to underpin the focus on collective efforts towards water conservation. Everyone counts to make every drop count!
For World Water Day the video “A Day in the Life of Miss Lim” has been produced. The video tells the story about Miss Lim, and her journey towards practising and discovering water conservation initiatives. View the video here.
