This World Water Day, the Water and Sanitation Rotarian Action Group (WASRAG) are launching a competition with the idea of educating communities around the world on the importance of protecting water sources.
Why not get your local community involved? The project must improve the quality of water and/or awareness of this issue in YOUR community. For example, you could form a team to clean up debris along a local river or lake; speak to students and encourage them to write essays on the importance of water and what THEY can do to protect it; and encourage farmers in your area to use eco-friendly chemicals that will not damage fragile water systems.
Use your imagination. The bottom line is to educate your community and take practical action. Learn more on how to submit an entry here.
