On World Water Day the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) and Aqua for All are organizing a networkevent, focusing on the theme of this year: ‘Nature for Water.’ The program consists of a keynote speech related to ‘Nature for Water’ by a representative from the Directorate-General for International Cooperation (DGIS) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After this, the ‘Blue Deal*’ will officially be signed, followed by presenting the publication ‘Rainwater harvesting and Impact Investing.’

Than it’s time for Drinks & Bites, network and meet colleagues from the watersector. During the drinks there’s the opportunity for people to climb the soapbox in the ‘Speakers Corner’ (Hyde-park style) to share their stories and initiatives.

* The ‘Blue Deal’ is an agreement between Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Economic Affairs, Infrastructure and Water Management and the water boards made to express their intention to work together internationally. The ambitious goal of the ‘Blue Deal’ is to better protect twenty million people in forty river basins worldwide against water and give access to sufficient, clean water.
